Authorities Following Leads on Kidnapping Suspect

Calls offering tips and other information have been coming to investigators since the release of a composite sketch.

The search for a 6-year-old Monrovia boy's suspected kidnapper continues, but now with the help of information from tips that have been coming to the sheriff's Temple City station since Saturday's release of a composite sketch.

"We're following some leads," said Lt. Michael White. "Some of it's stuff having to do with the sketch."

The man in the sketch, described as between 25 and 40 years old, allegedly grabbed the boy from his yard in the 2500 block of Graydon Avenue. The man carried the child about a block before the child bit him and was able to get free, police said.
