The New York Daily News reported the exchanged happened Saturday while Guzman, who was born in California, and his mother were doing landscape work.

"Just because the President of the United States says something, it does not give you the right to act like him," Guzman told the Daily News.

President Donald Trump has often called Mexican immigrants "rapists," "animals," and "drug dealers" during his campaign rallies.
