One Dead In Multi-Car Crash On 210 Freeway In Monrovia

MONROVIA, CA — One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a multi-car crash on the 210 Freeway in Monrovia.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on the eastbound 210 Freeway near West Huntington Drive, according to California Highway Patrol. Around six cars were involved in the pile up and authorities do not know what caused the incident.

At least four other people were injured in the crash and were taken to local hospitals for treatment, authorities said. Information about the person who was killed was not immediately available.

A Sigalert was issued for the carpool and three left lanes of traffic on the eastbound portion of the freeway as authorities investigated the scene and removed debris. The freeway was fully reopened around 8 p.m., according to CHP.
