Census Data Coming Tuesday for Monrovia, L.A. County, California
The U.S. Census Bureau will release population data for the town, county and state today.

Results of the 2010 U.S. Census will be released at midday Tuesday, March 8, for California and all the communities in Los Angeles County, including Monrovia, and we'll be posting news about the data as soon as they are released.
On Monday, the Census Bureau announced that it had shipped the local 2010 Census data to Gov. Jerry Brown and the leadership of the state legislature in California.
Once the state government confirms receipt of the official data Tuesday afternoon, the bureau will then release the data to the public.

Tuesday's release is expected around 12:30 p.m. PST. At that time, the full set of data will be available via FTP download.
Shortly thereafter, the data will be posted on the Census Bureau's new American FactFinder site.

The data will include population totals, as well as totals by race, Hispanic origin and voting age, broken down by community.
Monrovia Patch will report the findings, including changes since the 2000 Census, as well as reaction from local officials. Check back Tuesday afternoon!
