MONROVIA, CA — It's shaping up to be a star-spangled Fourth of July in Monrovia and San Gabriel Valley.

As coronavirus cases continue to drop across the state, and the number of those vaccinated continues to rise, Independence Day events are opening up area-wide.

July 4 is almost here, so find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in Monrovia and around San Gabriel Valley, so you can start planning, including firecracker events at Six Flags Magic Mountain and Universal Studios Hollywood.
