MHS Theater's 'Urinetown' Finishes with Standing Ovation
The production comprised of a cast of 33 student actors, live orchestra, four student musicians, and a 16 person tech crew.

From Monrovia HS: Monrovia High School's Wildcat theater department staged a successful showing of Urinetown, the musical on Thur, Fri, and Sat, March 9th, 10th AND 11th!
The musical is a three times TONY award winning comedic satire of the legal system, social irresponsibility, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, and musical theater itself!

The production comprised of a talented cast of 33 student actors, complemented with a LIVE orchestra, including 4 student musicians and an equally talented and dedicated tech crew of 16 students (including a student stage manger and lighting-board operator), all from beginner to advance level students from grades 9th to 12th! This production was directed at MHS by drama teacher Nathanael Overby and choreographed by visiting artist Joelle Martinec. Parent and student volunteers helped make the show run smoothly.
