Monrovia Fire Department Prevails in Battle of the Badges
Firefighters defeated police officers in the charity basketball game Friday night.
The Monrovia Fire Department got revenge on the court Friday in the Battle of the Badges charity basketball game, defeating the city's police officers after losing to them in last year's event.
Firefighters led at halftime and held on to win 55-44, Arcadia Police Sgt. Tom LeVeque reported on Twitter.
The game raised $500 for the American Cancer Society.
