SGV Man Suspected Of Fatal Hit And Run In Huntington Beach

The Huntington Beach police arrested a Monrovia driver connected with a fatal hit-and-run crash last weekend.

MONROVIA, CA —Huntington Beach arrested a man who was connected with a fatal hit-and-run crash last weekend, according to police.

The driver of a red Solara collided with a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Pacific Coast Highway, according to police.

The rider succumbed to injuries and died the following day, according to an official from the Orange County Coroner's Office.

Julien Cesar Solorzano, a Monrovia resident, was later arrested on suspicion of a fatal hit-and-run, Huntington Beach Police said, adding that he was positively identified with help from witnesses at the scene.

Solarzano was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday and was being held on $50,000 according to Orange County jail records.
