Monrovia Party City Will Close In May
"After careful consideration, the Monrovia store location will close," a Party City representative told Patch.
MONROVIA, CA — The Party City in Monrovia will close May 2, the company told Patch.
"Party City routinely evaluates our portfolio of stores in response to ongoing consumer, market and economic changes that naturally arise in the business. After careful consideration, the Monrovia store location will close on May 2," the company told Patch in a statement.
The store at 622 West Huntington Drive is still currently open for business. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Nearby stores in Pasadena (3353 East Foothill Blvd), Baldwin Park (3060 Baldwin Park Blvd), West Covina (2620 East Workman Ave) and Alhambra (2500 West Commonwealth Ave) will remain open, and customers can also shop online on the Party City website.
Party City sells party supplies, costumes, balloons, tableware, decorations, holiday and baby shower party supplies, stationary and more.
