Monrovia Wildcats Rout Arcadia 49-7
Monrovia High kicked off the week ranked No. 1 in the CIF-Southern Section Mid-Valley Division.
The Monrovia High Wildcats remain undefeated the second week into the season, beating rival Arcadia High 49-7 Friday night.
The highlight of the night was senior running Back Kurt Scoby who rushed for 292 yards and five touchdowns in the lopsided victory, reported the Pasadena Star News.
Quarterback Deshawn Potts, also a senior, put up 181 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown run, the newspaper reported. Monrovia kicked off its week ranked No. 1 in the CIF-Southern Section Mid-Valley Division.
