Solar Eclipse 2012 Photos: Images From Australia
Couldn't be in Australia to view the total solar eclipse? View images from the celestial event.

While Tuesday’s total solar eclipse was seen live from Australia (11:30 a.m. PST), those who weren't across the world can see the images from Huffington Post's image gallery.
“Solar eclipses occur when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow over the Earth. A total solar eclipse blots out the sun entirely,” according to the Huffington Post.
The eclipse lasted almost two hours.
