Councilman: Projected Tax Revenue Sums 'Drops in the Bucket'
The sum of a possible $700,000 income to the city underwhelmed Glendale City Councilman Ara Najarian.

A series of projects slated for downtown Glendale is expected to bring in about $700,000 in property-tax revenue to the city, but that figure apparently didn't impress City Councilman Ara Najarian on Tuesday, reports the Glendale News-Press.
"I am surprised when I look at the list of those projects," Najarian said of the roughly 20 projects' potential earning average of $35,000 to the city. "Those are just drops in the bucket."
The list of projects have seen their share of proponents and critics. Some believe the projects could muddy the crowded downtown even further, while others think the projects are good for the city, the News-Press reports.
