Crews Knock Down Blaze In Lake View Terrace

The brush fire broke out early Monday morning.

LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA – It took firefighters less than an hour to put out a one-acre vegetation fire in Lake View Terrace Monday morning, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 2:13 a.m. at Little Tujunga Canyon Road and Osborne Street, Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett said.

The fire was first reported to be 1/4 to 1/2 acre, Pickett said. Firefighters had the blaze out at 2:56 a.m., he said.

Firefighters from Los Angeles city and county responded, Pickett said.

The fire was in a tree nursery and two goats suffered burn injuries, a news videographer reported from the scene. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
