ALLURE SALON owner PATTI COOK shared progress on the MONTROSE HAIR EVENT which takes place this Sunday, October 14 from 11-5 at the salon. Hair donations of 10" or more are being accepted for Pantene who helps produce free wigs for cancer vistims. When you sign up to donate you will receive a free cut, style, and $10 in Montrose scrip to spend in your favorite boutique! There will be drawings every hour for a $50 Apple gift card. And now for a topic that seems to come up at every board meeting. POOP! The shopping park is beautiful with nice lawns and very dog friendly. What no one likes are when folks don't pick up after their furry friends. People are watching, especially early morning and late evening dog walkers. We THANK YOU for being a good neighbor and keeping Montrose beautiful and smelling nice. THERE IS NO POOP FAIRY so please pick up after your pet.
The pumpkins have arrived in Montrose! The big ones are called Atlantic Giants and weigh 300-400 pounds! They are ordered from a pumpkin farm months in advance. Enjoy the scenic displays and take pictures to share with your friends! This is one of the reasons the Montrose Shopping Park was recently voted FINEST SHOPPING CENTER by the readers of CV WEEKLY!
