The "Welcome" signs are prominent on the THE T ROOM, the beautiful saffron colored oasis in the Montrose Shopping Park. The star of the show here are the teas. The T Room has traveled the world to source the best. You won't find run of the mill tea bags here. This is the place for whole leaf teas that are brewed at just the right temperature and in such a way that the leaves have room to expand for ultimate flavor.

So many teas. So many flavors. One favorite is Mauritius, a rich black tea with broken leaves and a vanilla essence. Recommended with milk. For the more adventurous try Lapsang Souchong, a whole tea that has been smoked over rare woods.

The QUEEN'S TEA is well priced at $28 per person. This traditional English style tea is served on a 3-tiered cake stand with a freshly brewed pot of tea and includes: Lingonberry chicken, tarragon egg salad, English cucumber and Norwegian salmon finger sandwiches, freshly baked cranberry scones with homemade Russian cream and strawberry preserves, and assorted petite desserts and cookies surrounding fresh seasonal fruit.
