Restaurants adapt to alfresco dining, boutiques prepare for Fall, buildings get remodeled, and families enjoy walking in scenic Montrose.

Overcoming. Industrious. Adapting. Changing. Improving. Trying EVERYTHING.
These are extremely challenging times for "Mom and Pop", millennial entrepreneurs. and anyone trying to live the American dream on "Main Street" USA. The rules of the game keep changing and those who have their lives invested in living out the desires of their heart have had their world turned upside down.
But alas Montrose is a prime example of the perseverance of committed merchants. At BASIN 141 they are making their parklet as inviting as can be by stringing festive lighting from the trees. It's a beautiful setting for their creative gastropub menu and cocktail specials.

PHO 22, famous for their savory beef broth, the base of their varieties of pho, has reopened and is doing primarily carry out business. It's ANTHONY VALENZUELA'S first day on the job with POST MATES. The father of five, including a newborn baby, has had to make major changes to put food on the table for his family.
At the entrance to town the long vacant former Rocky Cola is being totally remodeled and will reopen as GUS & ANDY'S MONTROSE GRILL.

Montrose merchants are gearing up for Fall and Halloween with new goods arriving while having Summer sales. Many boutique owners have enhanced their bricks & mortar stores with online shops, and regular Instagram and Facebook posts. Customers are enjoying shopping inside and have adapted to the mask wearing and safety protocols.
With many having "staycations" families can be found walking, getting cold treats, and soaking up the fresh air and atmosphere.
