The first Thursday of every month the MONTROSE SHOPPING PARK ASSOCIATION (MSPA) holds its monthly board meeting. The get together takes place right on scenic Honolulu Ave. at the GLENDALE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CENTER from 8am - 10am.
This month we were honored by a visit from Glendale City Manager YASMIN BEERS. This was her first visit in her new capacity. We all listened with rapt attention as she shared about herself, city news, and her love of Montrose. We also got to meet one of the new owners of AVIGNONE'S! A local boy and real estate magnet, JORDAN NEDEFF, shared some of the plans he and his partners have for this iconic Montrose "dive bar". The plans are to give it a little clean up/ facelift while maintaining the cozy feel they are known for. Weekdays they will be opening at 3pm.

VICTORIA MALONE, Executive Director of the MONTROSE VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER, continues to be a breath of fresh air, attending the monthly meeting with a smile, and working together with the MSPA.
DALE DAWSON, MSPA Event Coordinator, shared final plans for last weekends KIDS & KRITTERS event (a huge success!), and upcoming MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE (May 28 7:45 am), 50th ANNIVERSARY of the VIETNAM WAR MEMORIAL (June 16 3pm), and 17th ANNUAL CAR SHOW (July 1). As always there is LOTS happening in the beloved Montrose Shopping Park.
