The Montrose Board And Chamber Are Showing The Love In Montrose
The heart banners are up and Tomoko Nagata of Crescenta Valley Nursery receives appreciation at the first MSPA Board Meeting of the decade.

The first meeting of the new year for the Montrose Shopping Park Board began with a framed plaque of appreciation. It was presented by the MSPA Board and Montrose Chamber to TOMOKO NAGATA of LA CRESCENTA NURSERY for the generous donation of design, soil nutrients, seasonal flowers, and labor in re-landscaping the Montrose Vietnam Memorial grounds.
Pictured from left are ANDRE ORDUBEGIAN (President MSPA), VICTORIA MALONE (Executive Director Montrose Chamber), TOMOKO NAGATA, and MIKE MORGAN ( Historical Society Of Crescenta Valley).
As the plaque states, "the Montrose Vietnam Memorial Wall is the 1st memorial in the nation dedicated solely to those who sacrificed their lives while serving their country during the Vietnam conflict."

The Vietnam Memorial can be found in the center of the Shopping Park at the intersection of Honolulu and Ocean View.
This week also marks the beginning of Montrose Valentine season with the appearance of the "I Love Montrose" heart banners. Each banner lists something special about the "one of a kind" Montrose businesses. The one pictured here says "PERSONAL SERVICE", something that is abundant in the boutiques, cafes, studios, and salons of Montrose.
