Tell us about your business and its history in your town.
We opened CBD Comfort Zone in September 2019 in Montrose, California. We selected Montrose because we have lived in the community for nearly 20 years and wanted to be part of the small business community of our neighborhood. Montrose is small-town USA filled with locally-owned small businesses and restaurants dating back to the early 1900s. We opened CBD Comfort Zone to offer our community high quality, affordable CBD products they can trust. When they come into our store, they get personalized service and great products. We have been welcomed into the community with open arms and are so grateful to have the opportunity to give back.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?
We are considered an essential business, which is fortunate. However, given the fact that Governor Newsome has requested everyone to stay home, our normal foot traffic has greatly diminished. People are no longer doing their normal errands or popping in for what they need, and as a new business, it is hard to gain customers during a time of crisis.
How can local customers support you now and in the future?
We are practicing social distancing and have elaborate sanitation procedures in the store. Typically, we only serve one customer at a time, so there are no crowds and keeping a six foot distance is quite achievable. We offer free delivery to all local customers and people can call us or order online — whichever is preferable.
Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?
We are a strong community and take great pride in our small town. It is great to see the community supporting all the small businesses and the businesses supporting each other. I know when this pandemic subsides we will come back better than ever!
Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?
We offer free local delivery. You can get a consultation over the phone or order products online. We are maintaining our normal business hours and have hand sanitizers.
Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?
