A trendy, fun STAND UP COMEDIAN from South Dakota has set her sights on the MONTROSE SHOPPING PARK to open her first boutique. Enter AMANDA NIX and new store NIX MARIE. Amanda and her business partner Dalynn had been searching the country for just the right spot. Several of their L.A., Hollywood connections mentioned Montrose. They fell in love with the town and it's Midwest friendly feel. They signed a lease for a prime spot near THE BLACK COW CAFE. The new store will appeal to hip young women with apparel, home goods, accessories, and more. The spot, pictured here is being totally revamped with exterior white paint, and hand stained wood on the interior walls.

Meanwhile in the 2300 block, REVELATION TOPS, with a successful business on Honolulu Ave. since 2003, has moved to their other store MOUNTAIN ROSE GIFTS on Ocean View Blvd. The space was quickly leased to PARADISE RANCH DESIGNS, luxury swimwear and resort designers taking their online business to bricks and mortar. Appealing to the ageless woman on the go, everything is proudly made in the USA.
