Novin Herbs & Spices Bringing Us Exotic Spices From Afar

Meet Aaron and Anna Abelian, the husband and wife team who own NOVIN HERBS & SPICES. They are our local spice merchants.

We shared a cup of fresh Peppermint Tea, in an organic tea bag mind you, as I learned the many benefits of this unique little shop. NOVIN stands for new innovation. The goal being to help you make spices a part of your life, bringing health, relaxation, and a knowledge of other cultures.

The saffron here is a work of art sold by the gram and in various gift box presentations that are sure to impress the recipient. The quality is SUPERB and the prices reasonable. As you approach Novin the smell of the spices surround you and lure you in. Once inside you will find large containers of colorful spices which you can buy by the ounce. They are happy to fill your containers from home if you wish.

Something unique to Novin are their layered spice blends perfect for gift giving. You MUST try the GOLDEN MILK! It is a blend of TURMERIC and several other spices. You add a teaspoon to warm milk at night and it will provide numerous health benefits and help you to sleep better! It is so soothing, smells amazing, and tastes wonderful! I am now a believer!

There are raw honeys from local farms.

You can use the honey in tea blends you create yourself. I purchased a container of black tea with dried, fragrant rose petals on top! Heaven!
