MONTROSE-LA CRESCENTA, CA — If you need some incentive to get the kiddos tucked in, remind them that Santa has Rudolph’s red nose trained on Montrose-La Crescenta and won’t make his scheduled landing if they’re still stirring.
There are a couple of ways to convince them that Santa is, indeed, en route with at least some of the gifts they put on their lists.
One is the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which keeps count of the number of gifts good little children who went to bed on time have received. The U.S. military command charged with protecting the nation’s airspace picked up St. Nick’s sleigh on radar as it departed the North Pole around 4 a.m. Eastern Time Tuesday.
