Try A Taste Of Gelsinger's Meats Market Deli in Montrose

Meet SARAH VELASQUEZ, great granddaughter of Peter Gelsinger, who founded the famous meat market in 1932. Long known for having the finest quality meats one can buy, GELSINGER'S MEATS MARKET DELI recently opened a new format in the Montrose Shopping Park.

In addition to their famous "build your own" deli sandwiches they have branched out into the rotisserie chicken world.

This is not your "run of the mill" chicken mind you. At Gelsinger's they serve NEVER EVER CHICKEN, thusly named because it has never been administered antibiotics. These cage free beauties were also raised on vegetarian feed. And the flavor? Superb! Especially when you kick it up a notch with one of Mrs. G's hot pepper jellies. This perfectly roasted 3 pound bird will easily feed a family of four on a busy weeknight.

If it's dry aged beef you're after you've come to the right place. A variety of meats are aged here including Australian Wagyu Beef with a 5 plus marble score, Certified Angus Prime Beef, Salami, and more!

The Salami ages for 28 days and there are several varieties, fabulous when paired with the gourmet jellies but decadent on their own.

Gourmet Olive Oils and Aged Balsamic Vinegars are housed in giant urns with loaves of artisan bread close by for dipping and tasting. They will fill and seal glass bottles right from the tap for purchase. The specially wrapped twin sets are perfect for gift giving.
