Twigs & Things Celebrates New Location With Saturday Open House
TWIGS & THINGS, a cute Montrose gift shop, with Laurie Jo Designs, is hosting an Open House this Saturday at their new Ocean View Blvd. spot
It's a new season for the popular Montrose gift shop TWIGS & THINGS! After 22 years on Honolulu Ave. they decided to hop across the street to an adorable, sunny location on happening Ocean View Blvd. They are all settled in now and invite you to their OPEN HOUSE this Saturday, March 30.
Their story started back in the 80's when owner CINDY REDDEN (left) was managing a store called Twigs And Greens on Honolulu where TRIBE TO TABLE is now. Cindy garnered quite a reputation for her custom floral arrangements. Eight years later the store closed but customers were still tracking Cindy down to design wreaths. It was then that she and her husband decided to open their own store with a similar name.
During that time THE CANDLE TREE was closing and FRANK ROBERTS encouraged Cindy to pick up his best selling YANKEE CANDLE, Colonial Candle, and accessories lines.

Cindy heeded his advice and has never looked back. They now have an entire wall of Yankee Candles in every scent you can think of!
To make things even more exciting LAURIE JO DESIGNS is now in the mix! Laurie Jo, pictured above with Cindy, is the founder of the local brand that is famous for their original hand painted tee shirts. In business since 1989 Laurie produces seasonal designs that women just love. Comfy, high quality, washable goods that make you feel happy to wear them. She is well known on the craft show circuit in California and neighboring states. Aren't we fortunate to have all of her best new stuff right here in Montrose!
