Watch It Takes A Village Kids Montrose On "This Is LA" Saturday

Major filming frequently takes place in the scenic MONTROSE SHOPPING PARK. Recently the cameras were pointed at IT TAKES A VILLAGE, a unique kids boutique on Honolulu Ave. DERRIAL CHRISTON, a host of the popular lifestyle television series THIS IS LA, was here with his crew to film an exciting segment that airs THIS SATURDAY on CBS 2 at 3:30!

Owner GIGI GARCIA, a Montrose local, who opened the boutique in 2012, loves the small town Mayberry vibe of Montrose and is passionate about promoting small business and her community. In addition to running her store she volunteers her time serving as Vice President of the Montrose Shopping Park Association, an elected board that oversees the 175 businesses in the BID.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE is a popular stop in the neighborhood, voted "THE FINEST" children's boutique by CV WEEKLY readers seven times since they opened. They specialize in clothing, gifts, toys, and backpacks for infants through kids size 12/14. The store is always full of the latest trends and prominently features MAYORAL, a quality children's brand from Spain.
