What Are Once Upon A Time's Best Selling Children's Books?

Hint: They may be books your parents or grandparents read to you.

Like the best comfort food recipes, children's books often get passed on from generation to generation.

"Parents usually gravitate towards what they had themselves enjoyed as children," said Judy Pfeiffer, an employee at Once Upon A Time in Montrose.

Pfeiffer said the independent bookstore's bestsellers include Tomie dePaola's "Strega Nona" and David Shannon's "No, David!". Titles by noted authors Marla Frazee and Mem Fox also fly off the shelves, Pfeiffer said.
