White's Art, Framing, & Restoration Gallery, A Montrose Icon

The Montrose Shopping Park is home to hundreds of "one of a kind" specialty businesses that excel in their niche. One of these is WHITE'S ART, FRAMING, & RESTORATION GALLERY which has been operating since 1944! You'll find them at the entrance to the Montrose Shopping Park near Trader Joe's. The colorful building speaks light, happiness, and creativity.

Lots of things are happening at White's Art Gallery! The man behind them all is proprietor, fine art restorer, and expert framer MIGUEL PEREZ who has been practicing his craft for over 40 years. This is what White's is known for:

ARTISTS: The works of local and international artists are showcased here with frequent exhibitions.

CUSTOM FRAMING: This is not like your ordinary chain store frame shop. At White's they do museum quality framing with great attention to detail. Some of the frames are even hand carved. Miguel considers framing an art form unto itself. If you are taking the time to frame something that is an heirloom you want it to be done with class.

RESTORATION: Miguel can lose track of time as he meticulously brings a beloved painting back to it's original glory. The process can take hours. Here is an example of "Before" and "After" with damage and haziness from years of collecting dust repaired.

STUDIO RENTALS: Artists can rent a studio and share instruction.

ART CLASSES: Art classes for children age 6-13 are held here.
