For it's weekly movie screening, Moorpark's Active Adult Center is going a little risque and will screen a movie about women operating a phone sex line to make ends meet.
The 2012 movie For a Good Time Call stars Lauren Miller, James Wolk and Ari Graynor and tells the story of two friends from college moving in together after some time apart.
One review on the Internet Movie Data Base, or IMDB.com, explains the storyline as follows:
"Lauren and Katie, college frenemies with a mutual good friend, move in together at age 28 in order to afford an amazing Gramercy Park apartment. The unlikely pair start a phone sex line and become best friends while learning about this hilarious world of vibrators, fake orgasms and nighttime callers. When the hot line is hung up and reality comes calling, the most meaningful relationship of their lives is put to the test."
The 85-minute film is rated R, but as the intended audience is above 18, this shouldn't be a problem at the Adult Center.
The center, located at 799 Moorpark Ave., offers free movies weekly on Fridays on a 10-foot screen and with surround sound. This week's movie begins at 12:45 p.m.
