Conejo Valley YMCA Spring Soccer League Begins April 15

Two assessment days will be held Saturday March 17 from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Thursday, March 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Conejo Valley YMCA, serving Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Moorpark and Santa Rosa Valley, is hosting its spring soccer league for boys and girls ages three to nine years old.

Two assessment days will be held Saturday March 17 from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Thursday, March 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Conejo Valley YMCA's lower field (4031 Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks). The league is from April 15 through June 3 also at the Conejo Y.

The league focuses on teaching children the fundamentals of soccer with a focus on skill development, teamwork and having fun.

League fees for three and four year olds are $70 per player for Y members and $115 for nonmembers and $80 for Y members and $125 for nonmembers for five to nine year olds. Fees include a uniform, pictures and award.
