Conejo YMCA Hosts Winter Camps in Moorpark & Thousand Oaks

The Conejo Valley YMCA will be hosting winter camps in Moorpark and Thousand Oaks. The camps coincide with winter breaks for area school districts. Dates are December 21 through December 30, Monday through Wednesday during both weeks.

The Y’s Thousand Oaks holiday camp will be held at MATES Charter School (2000 La Granada Drive, Thousand Oaks) and is open to Conejo Valley Unified School District students. The Y’s Moorpark camp will be held at Peach Hill Elementary School (13400 Christian Barrett, Moorpark). The camp is open to students in the Moorpark Unified School District. Both camps accept students in kindergarten through fifth grades. Camp hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Camp activities include cookie decorating, holiday themed projects, arts and crafts and outdoor activities. For students not already enrolled in the Y’s afterschool program, the cost for camp is $120 per week. Children should bring lunch, snacks and warm clothing.
