CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Ventura County is planning a pop-up dining event for October and is asking county residents to save the date.
The organization—which trains volunteers to serve as advocates for abused, neglected and abandoned children—describes the event, dubbed CASA Blanca, as an elegant white and black affair in which guests will dress in black and white , bring their own inspired dinners for the party and creatively decorate their tables.
Entertainment will be provided and there will be lots of prizes.
The event will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12, but the location, in pop-up style, won't be revealed until the day of the event.
