Five Things: Beauties, Beasts and Beaches

Here's a handful of things to keep in mind for today.

• Get ready for another gorgeous day in Moorpark! The National Weather Service predicts lots of sun and a high of 79 degrees today.
• The High Street Art Center's summer youth camp concludes this week with performances of Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr. Shows are at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1, 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets, which are $12, are available on the HSAC website.The theater is at 45 E. High St.
• If you feel like heading to the beach, don't forget you can leave the driving to the professionals and hop on the Moorpark Beach Bus to Zuma for just $5 for a round trip ticket ($2 for seniors or those with disabilities). Check out this Patch story for details.
• And here's a heads up for Saturday: Jamba Juice will be giving free Jamba Kids Smoothies to children 8 and younger from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Moorpark's Jamba Juice is at 888 Los Angeles Ave. (in the Target shopping center).
