Get a Bag of Books at Library Sale

In the middle of summer vacation when the kids start getting bored, stocking up on reading material could be a great idea. It keeps kids busy and gets them back into the practice before heading back to school.

And why not stock up on the cheap? The Moorpark Friends of the Library's summer used book sale continues through Sunday.

Books of all genres are sold by the bag, so patrons can buy as many books as will fit in their shopping bags for $4 per bag. 

The sale takes place during normal library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. The library is located at 699 Moorpark Ave.
