Golfers—and basketball fans—have the opportunity this week to help raise money for Moorpark High's boys basketball team.
Tierra Rejada Golf Club will be the site of a tournament to raise money for the team Friday.
In addition to the shotgun start tournament, there will be a longest drive contest, closest to the pin contest and putting contest. There will also be a barbecue dinner and gifts.
The fee to play is $150 per player and the event begins at 1 p.m., with an 11:30 a.m. check in. Tee sponsorships are also available.
