Candice Bergen, at 75, shines on our media screens with the same grace, poise and talent as always. Her most recent film? “Let Them All Talk” in 2020. Having been an actress since her first – truly plum – role in the groundbreaking film “The Group” at 20, Candice has worked as an actress year in, year out (with just a few years here and there to take a break). Her roles have varied from the dramatic to the comedic, with everything in between.

Most of us remember Candice most vividly from “Murphy Brown,” which ran for 10 seasons and was a great hit. But what you may not know is that Candice was nominated for an Emmy for her “Murphy Brown” role seven times, won five times, and after the fifth win, declined any future nominations for the role. Now there’s an uncharacteristic Hollywood choice.
