Meet An “Amazing” Who Has A Truly Uplifting Attitude

Lyubov Morekhodova, at 80, ties on the same ice skates she’s used for the past 60 years and skates a half hour over a frozen lake to get to the local village for her day’s shopping. She does this everyday to the village and back with groceries throughout the six-month-long Siberian winter from her home at the edge of Lake Baikal where she lives with the dogs, cows and chickens.

Lyubov’s children and grandchildren have a five hour drive from their home if they wish to visit her, so it’s not a frequent occurrence. That being said, Lyubov cherishes her lakeside home, and is perfectly content. As far as she is concerned, all this exercise is what keeps her young and in good spirits. What an inspiring attitude.
