Meet an “Amazing” Who Proves You Can Hit That Ball At Any Age

Arthur Aiello, at 90, plays softball three days a week, three hours at a go, and fully expects to be playing at 100. And no, he didn’t start playing as a youngster. Arthur only took up the sport after the death of his wife, when he was already 66. He says that softball saved him after his wife’s passing, both mentally and physically.

No doubt the fact that he plays with the Thousand Oaks Senior Softball Program, a group of like-minded folks, is part of what keeps him going. Relationships are every bit as important to happy healthy longevity as physical activity!
