Meet An “Amazing” Who Seeks To Express Her Truth Fully

Janette Bertrand, at 95, could rest on her many achievements and awards, such as being a recipient of the “Order of Canada” and the “Ordre National du Québec,” high honors indeed, for her contributions as a journalist over many years.

Yet, Janette is not done. She has just published a novel, “An Ordinary Rape,” which the title alone demonstrates the incisive thinking that distinguishes her. Well aware that time marches on, Janette is pouring her heart and soul into her writing – with a second novel already in the works. She plans to express as much of her truth for as long as she can. What an inspiring attitude.
