Meet An “Amazing” Whose Passion For Acting Continues Into His 90s

James Hong, at 91, is in production on yet another film, a science-fiction feature called “Everything, Everywhere All At Once.” That will make, by last count, 469 TV credits, 150 feature films, 32 short films and 22 video games to his name. It adds up to a staggering 673 credits, which means James very probably is the actor seen in more films than any other in history.

Acting wasn't James' first career. He received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, served in the US Army Special Services, and was a road engineer in Los Angeles for 7+ years before he set his sights on acting. He also helped to establish the noted “East West Players” in Los Angeles. Plans to retire? None.
