Sign-ups Underway for Simi Y's Youth Flag Football League

Sign-ups are underway for the Simi Valley Family YMCA's co-ed youth winter flag football league. The season runs from January 27 through April 7.

Teams are formed based on age—ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 to 13. No tryouts are necessary and everyone participates. The YMCA youth flag football league is an instructional/competitive sports program. It is also about building character, establishing friendships and having fun.

Games are held on Sundays at the Simi YMCA (3200 Cochran Street, Simi Valley). Weekly practices will take place on Wednesdays at Rancho Tapo Park. The cost is $110 (YMCA members) and $120 (YMCA program members).
