Simi YMCA Fall Swim Sessions Begin September 30

Classes are held twice a week in the afternoon/early evenings and on Saturdays.

Typical warm fall weather means kids can be in pools and around water through October or even later in the year. Parents who want their children to improve their swim skills and be water safe even after the traditional swim season is over can sign up their kids for fall swim lessons at the Simi Valley Family YMCA. Four-week swim classes begin September 30 and take place in the Simi Y’s heated indoor swimming pool (3200 Cochran St., Simi Valley).

Classes are divided by age and skill levels ranging from beginning to advanced classes for kids who want to compete for the Simi Y’s swim team. Parents who are unsure of their child’s swim level can bring their child to the YMCA for evaluation.

Thirty-minute private and group classes are available. Classes are held twice a week in the afternoon/early evenings and on Saturdays.
