Simi's Cajun and Blues Festival Set for This Weekend

Simi Valley goes Cajun one weekend every year for the Cajun and Blues Festival, and that weekend is May 25 and 26.

Now in its 23rd year, the festival will feature a large variety of musicians (click here for the full list of acts), a kids area with bounce houses, rock walls, talents shows, crafts, and live performances, a Mardis Gras-style parade, and a crafts and food area.

Tickets for the event are $20 per day for general admission. Children's tickets are $15 per day. Tickets are available online.

The event is hosted by the Simi Sunrise Rotary Club and proceeds will be used to help support various charities supported by the Rotary Club.

The event will from from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley. Parking will also be available at Simi Valley High School, 5400 Cochran St., with a free shuttle to the festival site.
