Small plane lands on Highway 23 in Moorpark
No injuries after small plane lands across lanes of Highway 23 during rush hour, fire officials say.
A small passenger plane made an emergency landing on Highway 23 in Moorhead during rush hour on Monday.
Ventura County Fire Department officials said in a statement posted to Facebook that the plane landed shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Highway 23 near Tierra Rejada Road.
No one on the ground or in the plane was injured, fire officials said.

The plane briefly blocked southbound portions of the freeway before it was moved to the center divider, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Central Active Dispatch (CAD) website.

The FAA and the NTSB are en route to the scene, CHP officials said.
The plane caught the attention of drivers on the busy highway.
