Southeast Ventura County YMCA Soccer League Underway

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is hosting its spring Soccer League for boys and girls ages three to nine. Applications are available at the Conejo Valley YMCA (4031 N. Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks). Games and practices take place on Sundays at the Y.

No experience is required. Children learn soccer basics with a focus on skill development, teamwork and having fun. Skill assessment for players ages five through nine are Wednesday, February 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 4 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Conejo Y. Players age three and four do not need a skill assessment.

League fees are $110 ($70 for YMCA members) for three and four year olds and $120 ($80 for YMCA members) for ages five and up. Fees include a uniform and trophy.
