Riverside County Home Prices Rose Slightly Last Month
Home prices in Riverside County rose 1.7 percent in February compared to the same month last year, a real estate information service says.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA -- Home prices rose 1.7 percent in Riverside County in February, compared to the same month a year ago, while home sales dropped by 8.9 percent, real estate information service CoreLogic said today.
The median price of a Riverside County home was $381,500 last month, up from $375,000 in February 2018, according to CoreLogic data. A total of 2,556 homes were sold in the county, down from 2,805 in February 2018.
A total of 13,466 new and resale houses and condos changed hands in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Ventura, San Bernardino and Orange counties last month, according to CoreLogic. That was up 6.3 percent from 12,671 in January, and down 11.7 percent from 15,245 in February 2018.

The median price of a Southern California home was $512,500 in February, up 1.5 percent from $505,000 in January and up 1.2 percent from$506,455 in February 2018.
`February was the third month in a row in which Southern California home sales were the lowest for that particular month in 11 years, since shortly after the last housing downturn began, according to CoreLogic research analyst Andrew LePage.
