5 CA Homes That Cost Under $100,000
Do you think that there are no bargains left in California? If you get away from the major cities, affordable homes still exist.
CALIFORNIA — Is 2020 the year you buy a home in California? Some potential home buyers have become discouraged and left the state, but there are plenty of homes under $100,000 if you get outside of the major cities. Right now there are five homes for sale in Oroville with price tags under $100,000, 15 in Lassen County and dozens in Kern County, including Bakersfield and Lake Isabella. And that's just a sampling.
Here are five of our favorites —

The first home is in North Fork which is south of Yosemite National Park, so you know it's a gorgeous area. It has one bedroom, one bathroom in a roomy 924 square feet. Outside, you can call 1.45 acres all your own. The price tag is $79,900.

Next comes this cute home in Alturas. The two bedroom, 1 bath home costs a minuscule $42,900. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, this northern California home is near lakes and national forests.

This home is in Big Bear Lake, with a view of the lake. It has a compact 366 square feet including a kitchen area, bathroom, and living room with sofa sleeper. The asking price is $90,000.

Another compact option is this 300 square foot home in Chester. It has two loft spaces for sleeping, propane appliances, a Franklin stove for heat and an outdoor shower. Good luck in January. The list price is $97,500.

This home is in Pollock Pines, in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Lake Tahoe. This four bedroom, 1 bath home could be a weekend and vacation getaway, or your forever home thanks to tech. It squeezes under the budget at $99,000.
