Dumbarton Rail Corridor Project Meetings
Cross the Dumbarton Bridge on a train instead of in a car? Project managers will share their plans.

A series of community meetings are planned to help guide the development of a proposed new connection linking San Mateo and Alameda counties along the Dumbarton corridor.
The San Mateo County Transit District and Cross Bay Transit Partners are exploring alternatives for a high-capacity cross-bay public transit system. The introductory meetings will feature project partners that will share information about the Dumbarton Rail Corridor project background, goals, funding, timeline and process, according to organizers.
The first meeting was held Saturday at Newark Pavilion. Upcoming meetings:

- 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Ave., Redwood City
- 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 28 at Centerville Community Center, 3355 Country Drive,
- Fremont
- 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. March 2 at the Menlo Park Senior Center, 110 Terminal Ave., Menlo Park.
