Fremont Man Identified as Oakland Murder Victim

OAKLAND, CA — A man who was shot and killed in East Oakland on Friday morning has been identified as a 22-year-old Fremont resident.

Police said Damien Traylor was found shot at 9:20 a.m. in the 800 block of East 24th Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police released no information about a suspect or motive in the shooting.
