More than 934,000 people are registered to vote here in Alameda County, according to the latest voter registration numbers from Secretary of State Alex Padilla's office. If you have not returned your ballot, you may mail it on election day and it will still count, as long as it has Tuesday’s postmark.

Alameda County had a surplus of volunteers for this election. "We had 4,800 people volunteer for the four days; so we have plenty of volunteers," said Tim Dupuis, Alameda County's registrar of voters.
