Newark Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting
Police were searching for the man who fired a shot at a house in Newark last week.
NEWARK, CA — Police are searching for the man who fired a shot at a house in the 5700 block of Moores Avenue in Newark early Thursday evening.
Newark police responded to a 7:56 p.m. report from witnesses who saw a man drive a vehicle and stop in front of a house, where he fired a shot that struck the garage door and then sped away in his vehicle.
Police said no one was injured in the shooting and that they are searching for a motive and the suspect.
